Airborne Montgomery komt uit een interessante foklijn. Zijn vader is Sunwillow Troy. Deze hengst werd vijfde geplaatst in een ijzersterke rubriek op de Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, en haalde tevens eerste plaatsen en kampioenschappen op vele andere shows. Hij nam de felbegeerde bronzen en zilveren medaille mee naar Nederland. Ook in de fokkerij wist Troy in Nederland indruk te maken. De moeder van Airborne Montgomery, de preferente sport- en kroonmerrie Mariska, gaat terug op de beroemde Brynrodyn Bonheddwr.
Airborne Montgomery is een veelzijdige NWPCS stamboekhengst en ook WPCV erkend. Volgens het jurycommentaar van de NWPCS hengstenkeuring is hij een zeer rassige pony met hele mooie voeten. Airborne Montgomery comes from an interesting breeding line. His father is Sunwillow Troy. This stallion was placed fifth in a very strong class at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, and also took first places and championships at many other shows. He took the coveted bronze and silver medal with him to the Netherlands. Troy also impressed in breeding in the Netherlands. Airborne Montgomery's dam, the preferent sport and crown mare Mariska, goes back to the famous Brynrodyn Bonheddwr.
Airborne Montgomery is a versatile NWPCS licensed stallion and is also acknowledged by the WPCV. According to the jury commentary of the NWPCS stallion inspection, Airborne Montgomery is a very racial pony with very beautiful feet. Built proportionally. Caederwen Saracen (geboren 2009) is onze Welsh Cob dekhengst (v. Gwynfaes Culhwch x Kestos Ceridwen, bekijk zijn stamboom hier).
Het is een imposante hengst met veel front en uitstekende beweging. Opvallend is zijn goede karakter. Met een stokmaat van 1.50 meter voegt hij formaat en beweging toe aan zijn nageslacht. Hij heeft een Britse WPCS-deklicentie en is een NWPCS stamboekhengst. Caederwen Saracen behaalde tijdens het showen aan de hand 2 keer een tweede plaats op de Lampeter Stallion Show (2012 en 2013), en werd derde op de Royal Welsh Agricultural Show (2012) in de groep van driejarige en oudere hengsten. Tijdens de NWPCS Welsh Centrale Hengstenkeuring 2019 werd Caederwen Saracen ook stamboekhengst voor het NWPCS (hij was dit al eerder voor de Britse Welsh Pony & Cob Society, het WPCS) en daarnaast kampioen bij de Sectie D. In 2020 prolongeerde deze publiekslieveling zijn kampioenstitel en werd hij geprimeerd. In 2022 won hij op diverse shows de kampioenschappen. Zijn vader, de hengst Gwynfaes Culhwch, heeft elke belangrijke show in het Verenigd Koninkrijk gewonnen, waaronder de George Prince of Wales Cup als Champion Welsh Cob op de Royal Welsh in 2002. Zijn moeder, Kestos Ceridwen (vader Derwen Royal Express), won als jaarling ook veel kampioenschappen, waaronder het young stock kampioenschap bij de Glanusk stallion show in 1992. De volle zus van Caederwen Saracen, Caederwen Sienna, pakte in 2009 de eerste plaats bij de Royal Welsh Show in de categorie Filly - 2 y.o., en in datzelfde jaar ook 1e werd in Glanusk en 2e werd bij de Lampeter Show. In 2010 werd Caederwen Sienna 1e bij de Lampeter Show. In zowel 2013 als 2014 werd ze 3e op de Royal Welsh Show. |
Caederwen Saracen is an impressive stallion with a lot of front and excellent movement. His good character is striking. With a height of 1.50 meters, he adds size and movement to his offspring. He holds a UK WPCS breeding license and is a NWPCS studbook stallion.
Caederwen Saracen took the second place twice at the Lampeter Stallion Show (2012 and 2013) during the show in hand, and became third at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show (2012) in the group of three-year-old and older stallions. During the NWPCS Welsh Central Stallion Approval 2019, Caederwen Saracen also became a studbook stallion for the Dutch NWPCS (he was previously approved by the British Welsh Pony & Cob Society, the WPCS) and also champion Section D. In 2020 this public favorite extended his championship title and became primed. Caederwen Saracen comes from an excellent Welsh Cob line. You can view his pedigree here. His sire, the stallion Gwynfaes Culhwch, has won every major show in the UK, including the George Prince of Wales Cup as Champion Welsh Cob at the Royal Welsh in 2002. His dam, Kestos Ceridwen (s. Derwen Royal Express), also won many championships as a yearling, including the young stock championship at the Glanusk stallion show in 1992. Caederwen Saracen's full sister, Caederwen Sienna, took first place at the Royal Welsh Show in the Filly - 2 y.o. category in 2009, and was also placed 1st in Glanusk and 2nd at the Lampeter Show in the same year. In 2010 Caederwen Sienna became 1st at the Lampeter Show. In both 2013 and 2014 she was placed 3rd at the Royal Welsh Show.
